Dairy products can give your body electrolytes since calcium is an electrolyte. Milk is full of calcium and one glass of milk contains up to 300 mg of calcium.
Coconut water contains potassium and sodium which are electrolytes. Drinking coconut water gives you a good amount of potassium and sodium; around 600 mg of potassium and 252 mg of sodium in a cup of coconut water. Coconut water can be found in any grocery or convenience stores.
Avocados are also very rich in potassium. One avocado can contain around 975 mg of potassium. You can eat avocado as guacamole, eat it with eggs in the morning, or simply eat a slice with a little salt. Avocado is nature’ butter.
Bananas is another food rich in potassium. A banana can have about 422 mg of potassium. Bananas can be eaten with almost anything or just eat it by themselves. It is perfect as a grab and go snack. IF you add peanut butter to your bananas, you are adding a little extra protein and flavor.

You don’t need to overdo giving your body electrolytes. It only needs enough for your body to function. What is important is that the amount of electrolytes in your body is steady. Active people and people who sweat a lot need to replenish electrolytes that are lost due to sweat.
